On the outside Fiona Lawson has it all, a good looking husband, two amazing children and a house on one the most sort after streets. But when she returns home to find strangers moving into her house her enter world is shattered.
Nipping home Fiona sees a moving truck which she quickly realises is parked outside her house and instantly she fills her with terror and confusion. Not only do two strangers believe it is their house but her husband Bram and their two children have dissappeared. Whilst Fiona knew her life was not as perfect as it seemed but unravelling the situation there were even more lies and deception than even she could have imagined.
The book began well, a true mystery that you wanted to be explained and there were enough twists and turns that you were kept on the edge of your seat and never knew what was going befall the characters again.
But the book falls short of what I expected from a washington post top 10 thriller ans mystery of 2018. The two main characters are not relatable at all and you struggle to feel sorry for either of them. The book also manages to be far too long, it could easily have been 100 pages less.
